Our story
The meaning behind Touch of Moto.
At the end of Marine Corps recruit training, each graduating company completes the Moto Run. Along the route, families wait to see their Marines for the first time in thirteen weeks. It is a powerful moment filled with pride, relief and a first glimpse of the transformation earned through sacrifice and perseverance.
Touch of Moto was born from that feeling. A plaque may represent three years with a unit, a hard-earned promotion or an entire twenty-year career. Behind every milestone are long days, time away from family and the blood, sweat and tears it took to get there. Our purpose is to capture that story in wood and layered materials.
Behind the work is a Marine family shaped by seventeen years of service, PCS moves, deployments and Drill Instructor duty. We are raising and homeschooling four children while growing this small business from our family workshop.
Touch of Moto is our way of giving back to the military community we love. Although our roots are in the Marine Corps, we are honored to create for every branch—making each piece feel less like a plaque and more like a part of their service they can hold on to.
